The Best Lockdown Collaboration Performances
The pandemic has been hard on all of us, but there is nothing stopping the theatre industry from being creative and inspiring!
Being huge theatre fans we all know how much the arts mean to us, and how these theatre streamings have been getting us through this pandemic. Other than the proshot theatre streamings, a lot of theatre performers from West End and Broadway have also been keep themselves busy and keeping us entertained by collaborating and recording hit musical songs, at their own home!
Today we want to look back at some of the best lockdown collaboration performances that we have been enjoying so far.
1. Defying Gravity - Shoshana Bean and friends
A special concert organised and headlined by the Broadway superstar, Shoshana Bean and Friends unites some of the world’s most iconic music theatre performers for this rendition of Defying Gravity.
2. Alexander Hamilton - Hamilton Original Broadway Cast
Hamilton's Original Broadway Cast performs "Alexander Hamilton" on Zoom to surprise Aubrey, one of their greatest fans. Original cast members include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr, Jonathan Groff, Anthony Ramos, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo, Christopher Jackson, and Daveed Diggs.
3. One Day More - the Les Miserable companies
Members of Les Miserable companies, from 1987 to the present, return to the stage to share this anthem of hope in these challenging times, until stages around the world light up once more.

4. For Good from Wicked the musical , West End Wicked Witches
The West End Witches from the Wicked musical vitually gathered to perform For Good from Wicked, from their own homes, for The MAD Trust Covid 19 Relief Fund.
5. Ex-Wives from Six the Musical - West End stars from The Musical Alphabet
Six major West End stars – Arun Blair-Mangat, Jordan Luke Gage, Layton Williams, Oliver Ormson, Rob Houchen and Marcus Collins, take on the opening song from the award-winning musical.
6. For Good from Wicked the Musical - Steffan Hughes and Tom Hier
Tom Hier and Steffan Hughes sing 'For Good' from the musical Wicked by Stephen Schwartz in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff.
7. For Your Light To Shine from Fiver the Musical - an isolation performance
Aoife Clesham, Hiba Elchikhe, Dan Buckley, Luke Bayer and Alex James Ellison perform "For Your Light To Shine" from hit Off-West End musical Fiver, recorded at home in isolation.
The show originally opened at Southwark Playhouse in July 2019, and was nominated for Best Off-West End production at the 2019 WhatsOnStage Awards.
8. You Will Be Found (Dear Evan Hansen) - The Welsh of the West End
Alongside some very special guests, The Welsh of the West End perform 'You Will Be Found' from 'Dear Evan Hansen' dedicated to NHS Wales, accompanied by an all-Welsh band.

9. Mamma Mia! - The West End Mamma Mia! Cast
The current West End cast of MAMMA MIA! perform Mamma Mia whilst in lockdown.
Probably the happiest unemployed people you will ever see.
10. Bring Him Home from Les Misérables
A special rendition of Les Misérables hit number "Bring Him Home" has been recorded to celebrate the NHS.
Alfie Boe, Ramin Karimloo, John Owen-Jones, David Shannon, Alistair Brammer, Fra Fee and Rob Houchen, who are all former cast members of ''Les Misérables'', appear on the track, alongside hit foursome The Barricade Boys.
