Hushabye Mountain

Starring Matt Henry, Jodie Prenger, Layton Williams and more!

First written in 1999, AIDS drama Hushabye Mountain tells a story of love, death and Judy Garland.

Directed by Nick Bagnall, who featured in the original production, and with a star-studded cast, including Matt Henry, Jodie Prenger and Layton Williams, Hope Mill Theatre is bringing Jonathan Harvey’s iconic piece online this June.

Also starring Nathan McMullen, Amy Dunn and Harrison Scott-Smith, Hushabye Mountain reveals a world that has learned to live with AIDS. It is a world full of love, pain, laughter and friendship, where drugs in their various combinations are exhilarating, destructive, costly and even life restoring.

In collaboration with stream.theatre, audiences can tune into a live stream straight from Hope Mill Theatre (RENT, MAME, Spring Awakening) on Saturday 5 June, recorded performances from 11 until 20 June and a one-off Gala Streaming at Hope Mill in Manchester followed by post show Q&A on 12 June.
